One Earth, Many Voices- Awareness Campaign in Observance of the World Environment Day 2026 at Dhaka and Moulvibazar

One Earth, Many Voices is a three-day community awareness campaign taking place from 03–05 June 2026 in observance of World Environment Day 2026. The campaign aims to promote environmental awareness, encourage sustainable practices, and strengthen community participation in biodiversity conservation through a series of inclusive and culturally relevant activities.

Organized by Dnet in collaboration with its local partners—PSUS, JKK, NSS, and Prochesta—the campaign will engage diverse communities whose lives and livelihoods are closely linked to nature. Awareness activities with Garo and Dalit communities, organized by Dnet and PSUS, will foster environmental stewardship and social inclusion. Dnet and JKK will mobilize tea garden-based youth clubs for a tree plantation campaign and collaborate with the Monipuri Cultural Club to deliver a World Environment Day-themed cultural campaign. Dnet and NSS will conduct awareness sessions with fisherfolk and farming communities of Hakaluki Haor, highlighting sustainable natural resource management and wetland conservation. Environmental pledge campaigns involving women-led organizations, community members, and organizational staff will be facilitated by Dnet, Prochesta, and Dnet Headquarters.

By bringing together diverse voices and experiences, the campaign will promote collective responsibility for environmental protection and demonstrate how community-led action can contribute to a more sustainable and resilient future.
