MaMoni - Health Systems Strengthening

MaMoni – Health Systems Strengthening (HSS) is a Health Systems Strengthening (HSS) project in Bangladesh supported by USAID Associate Cooperative Agreement through the Maternal and Child Health Integrated Program (MCHIP) in partnership with the Ministry of Health. The goal of the project is to reduce maternal, neonatal and child mortality through the improved utilization of integrated maternal, newborn, and child health, family planning, and nutrition (MNCH/FP/N) services. Aponjon (Power of Health in Every Mother)

Dnet’s Aponjon has been the largest mHealth Project in South Asia. Dnet developed a forms app that integrates with the portal and collects data from it. “Aponjon” (the close/trusted one in Bangla) is a mobile phone-based mHealth service for expecting and new mothers in Bangladesh under the auspices of Mobile Alliance for Maternal Action (MAMA). Aponjon services are operated under the programme agreed between the governments of USA and Bangladesh. Donor: USAID
