Senior Researcher, Research and MEAL

Reports To: Head of Research

 Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Researcher with 6-8 years of professional experience and a Master’s degree in a relevant field. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of publications and a deep understanding of research methodologies. This role involves leading research projects, contributing to the strategic direction of the research team, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Research Leadership:
   • Lead and manage complex research projects from inception to completion.
   • Develop and implement research strategies that align with the company’s goals.
   • Ensure research projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
2. Publication and Dissemination:
   • Author high-quality research papers and articles for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
   • Present research findings at conferences, workshops, and seminars.
   • Collaborate with other researchers to co-author publications.
3. Collaboration and Mentorship:
   • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings.
   • Mentor junior researchers and provide guidance on research methodologies and best practices.
   • Foster a collaborative and innovative research environment.
4. Data Analysis and Interpretation:
   • Perform advanced statistical analyses.
   • Interpret research results and provide actionable insights.
   • Utilize data visualization tools to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
5. Grant Writing and Funding:
   • Identify funding opportunities and contribute to grant writing efforts.
   • Manage research project budgets.
   • Maintain relationships with funding agencies and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in [relevant field] (Ph.D. preferred).
• 6-8 years of professional research experience in [specific industry/field].
• Proven track record of publications.
• Strong knowledge of research methodologies and statistical analysis.
• Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead and manage research projects effectively.
• Experience with grant writing and securing research funding is a plus.
